Corporate Event Management System

This is a commercially-available, web-based application that manages the entire business process for companies that plan, organize, and operate meetings, retreats, and incentive programs for large groups. I developed the entire system including UI, business objects, and database tier. It has modules for CRM, sales, operations, vendors, and more. The software currently has 145 tables and 105 business objects.

Details of a particular company includes contacts within the company, address, phone numbers, etc.

The system allows the user to build complex HTML documents that can include embeded pictures, slideshows, video, and sound without requiring the user to know any HTML. These documents are stored in a library for salespeople to pick from when building custom proposals for a potential client.

RFPs for hotel rates are submitted from the system via e-mail to the hotel. The hotel can then submit the rates through the website - eliminating the need to re-key the quote once it is received.

Vendors can log into the website and publish pricing and availability to the destination management company.
